This is an Italian supper of the best kind - we’re super excited to have one of our favourite winemakers Roberto Zeno of Enoz who will be joining us from Italy for a special Campanian feast and celebration of his wines. Roberto’s vines grow in the volcanic sun-soaked soils of Campania overlooking the Gulf of Gaiola - it’s here we recently visited to taste his vintages. Roberto treated us to a generous lunch on his verandah overlooking the vines, the winter sun warmed our faces and the fire crackled. Around a long table we talked, drank and ate that mornings freshly made mozzarella, fragrant local sausages, tender pork and enjoyed a table abundant with the seasons magic and good company. My goodness we sang, how delicious, how Italian. With the help of Roberto we’re going to recreate this feast, he’ll be bringing some of these treasures with him from his home town, Sessa Aurunca, and of course his exceptional wines - wines that are fresh, joyful and speak of the volcanic earth at the edge of the sea.
This is a set menu, £55 per person and includes a glass of wine. The style of this event is communal dining just like the Italians - long tables for feasting together. This means that for parties of 4 and under you will be seated on sharing tables.
